Nestled among indigenous trees in the quiet Rooiberg area, the lodge invites you to slow down and savour the natural world—uninterrupted, unhurried, and deeply restorative.
Why We’re Different
We keep things small on purpose. With only four rooms and a maximum of eight guests, our lodge is a haven of space, quiet, and personal attention. Every stay feels private—never crowded—making it easy to slow down, tune in, and experience the bush on your own terms.
At the heart of Eclectic Safari Lodge lies the main lodge—a welcoming, open-plan space that brings guests together while maintaining the relaxed, unhurried rhythm of the bush.
Here, you’ll find a dining area, lounge, and bar, all centered around a cozy indoor fireplace and flowing effortlessly onto the main viewing deck.
Outside, a boma deck invites fireside conversation beneath the stars, while the braai area sets the scene for authentic, open-flame dinners.
A swimming pool and outdoor lounge provide refreshing, sun-soaked corners to unwind between game drives—each space designed to offer views, comfort, and connection to the surrounding wilderness.
From the main lodge, winding paths meander through the bush, leading to each of the four freestanding suites. Tucked gently into the landscape, the layout ensures a sense of seclusion while still being just a short stroll from the central shared spaces.
